Our Story

Big Dick BBQ isn't just a brand, its a vibe straight off Adams Ranch in Elk Grove, CA. In 2004, the Adams family started raising their own beef to feed their kids real food they could trust. With professional careers, kids in sports, and a schedule that revolved around practices and games, they wanted clean, honest protein on the table and complete control over what went into it.

But raising cattle has a way of shaping people. The upkeep on the ranch, the animals, the pride in doing things the right way – it builds confidence, grit, and gives that little bit of swagger. That swagger became part of Marvin, part of the kids, part of the ranch… And eventually, part of the brand.

Marvin built his herd like a man on a mission – grass fed, grain finished, and treated with the kind of care only a rancher with pride and high standards brings. His original trio – "two blondes and a redhead" – thrived on seasonal grasses and custom grains. Then came pigs, chickens, and finally Big Richard: the legendary rooster who took over the yard. Three feet tall, full of attitude, and impossible to ignore, Big Richard quickly earned the nickname "Big Dick" thanks to his size and shameless swagger. He became the ranch mascot – and the inspiration behind the brands cocky spirit.

Marvin has always had swagger and a cocky spirit – but it is unmistakable behind the grill. He doesn't just cook; he takes charge. Every piece of homegrown meat gets lathered in marinade, gently massaged, and sensuously seasoned, creating a blend of culinary pleasure and aesthetic beauty.

When the beef hits the grill and catches that perfect lick of flame, the soundtrack kicks in: Morgan Wallen or the Eagles in the background, a cold Bud Light pulled straight from the Yeti, or a Crown and Ginger in hand. That's the Big Dick BBQ way. No shortcuts. No apologies. Just hard earned confidence, a little humor, a lot of pride, and the kind of swagger you can taste.

This brand is not for everyone; but it is for anyone who lives with that same bold edge – whether you're ranching, grilling, or living life with a little extra strut. If that's you, grab a cocky tee now.
